I don't think I need to explain to anyone who frequents our site the specifics of the situation on Stormhammer, so let's get down to the nitty gritty, shall we? Mind you, if you don't care to hear about guild politics, dick waving or lawsuits over Emperor Snakeypoos, then stop right here. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Question: How many lawyers does it take to ensure an Emperor kill? I sure as hell don't know but MAYBE our good friends at Leviathan would. Actually I find this link to be extremely ironic, considering that when we had planned something similar yet of a lesser magnitude guess which guild didn't hesitate to create 250 page threads hassling us about it? So how are those lawsuits coming?

What disturbs me most is this particular link, which shows that they went even beyond petty lawsuits and now dangle the very livelihood of Verant Interactive from their fingertips through a whole other company, just so that they can finally extend their precious calendar into a 7-day affair, therefore nullifying *ANY* competition in this game whatsoever. This concerns many more people other then just myself and my guild. What happens when Verant is pressured to enforce a player-restricting calendar from the get-go in SWG or EQ2, and you power gamers out there have to wait 7 weeks behind 6 other guilds to kill that frenzied ewok or some giant red dragon? What happens when GM enforced rotations begin popping up on public servers, along with the laughable tier system plagued by loopholes, just for the sake of appeasing LucasArts?

Anyways, what you are reading is Leviathan's private board, conveniently given to us by one of their own. Feel free to browse around before I continue, there's some good reading to be had.

A little background on the Legends server for you folks who are unaware: SH is under a GM-enforced calendar. Each week starting on Wednesday is our "calendar period," which extends to Sunday morning at 2 EST. After that begins the Free For All period, which needs no explanation i'm sure. Now let's pretend we're a second tier guild on a server whose core is composed of folks who left the reigning guild on a rather bad note. Would you accept your place on the server? I know I wouldn't, so I suppose I understand where Leviathan is coming from...

As everyone on Stormhammer knows, Leviathan is also a guild that always plays by the rules. I mean, sure they may find useful little loopholes here and there in the system, and a few occasional server crashes  is completely excusable. And really, who cares if your own guild leader is willing to to sink to that very same level. Unstable server you say...?

The problem is, Leviathan as a whole won't realize that their calendar has made them soft. Perhaps a few have openly expressed their feelings, yet for the most part they're confident that they're our equals. So instead of sitting down, shutting the hell up, and acknowledging themselves as #2, they will use their $40/month as an excuse to have GMs act as their crutch and cater to their every needs... Planting afk guildmates at a zone in while half the guild is at work, and convincing the GM to award them the zone for example. If that doesn't do the trick then lie to the GM and your own guildmates and claim that a guild crashed a zone with 80 people when they were mid-way through Vex Thal at the time.

According to Leviathan these links are probably all forgeries though. Of course, according to leviathan one of our members tried hacking their website even though the member in question still hosts his website at the ip in question, and no he hasn't been interrogated by the FBI.. Anyways, it's time I gave my opinion.

/dick waving on

Levi, you suck. I don't care if you're all successful and kind people in real life, but in this game you suck. You'll never be our equals, give up your holy crusade already. You didn't come here to pay $40/month to be given opportunities second-tier guilds on all other servers don't have. You pay $40/month for the dynamic content that is slowly dispersing with every GM who's job you've had plucked away. You have 1 Aten Ha Ra kill to our 20, 1 seru to our 15. Planes of Power will have no calendar, so smarten the fuck up and get your game faces on, because your crutch is about to be taken away.

(Oh by the way, please stop plucking away our GMs...I do quite enjoy the larger scale events)
